Send docs to ur hubby and let him send thru AMEX...

Btw...we have gone thru the same like u r facing now...they asked each and every thing from me & called me for second interview...I submitted Western Union receipts, Air Tickets, 100 pages of my wife's passport having in/exit stamps, Her dubai and Paki visas showing my name as husband, 100s of pics together, Original receipt of Damas Jeweller Dubai where we bought our wedding rings from etc etc...but still after that second interview we have completed 18 months in AP...my 2nd was fantastic interview I guess that's why I am in AP... LOL

I pray for your success and Almighty bring you out of AP very soon

LOL

plz ali brother, dont scare me, I am already holding on to hope that after this, they will issue the visa. did they take u in another room to interview u in your second interview? were they rude or just normal?

Plz send docs to ur hubby and let him send thru AMEX...AMEX is the only reliable source for docs to the Embassy...I have done such mistake of sending docs direct to Embassy and result was bad but when used AMEX they acknowledged the receipt both by AMEX & US Embassy in 2 days...save your time and be more hopeful & satisfied by using AMEX...

About my interview...1st was on window & 2nd was in a Room and they watched me all day inside the Embassy from 8 am till 5:30 PM and I was alone in Embassy that time when they called me in...LOL

They pretended to excuse again and again but they purposely did that I know...forget it by the way and you be hopeful and iA you will get the visa and Good luck with you

I totally understand what you and yarm are saying, but i got a small problem, my husband is so frustrated right now with this whole ordeal, for him its become a case of self-respect, he keeps saying im not dying for a visa, and i keep telling him that its not something personal against u, its just they punish most pakistanis, and hes basically told me, u send them from here, because its a lot of papers, i feel like i will organize them better then he can, if i can convince him to send them to AMEX himself, it will be great, but right now, he's just not getting it.

when i sent documents last time, we sent threw AMEX and I never contacted their office or embassy directly, I called NVC and they confirmed me that the embassy received our documents.

I will take your advices and talk to hubby and try to convince him though. lets see, right now i am just busy getting everything together and i am exhausted.

I have told him many times, I spent the whole morning saying that this is just a temporary thing, we wont deal with AP forever, the long term results will be the reward, to embassy we are just another case, they dont care, we just have to give them what they ask for, seriously i think, these are all excuses to delay visa, and to test the couple out and their patience level. I know I am emotionally exhuasted but I still have the will to fight, I was actually planning a trip next month to pakistan, to see hubby cuz i missed him so much and now I stuck with this. dont know what to do after i submit these documents. wait or go visit.

sarahch,

I am so sorry you husband is acting this way. My husband was interviewed 3 times. The last interview was long and hard but he never took this is a personal way. He understood that they treat most people this way to shake them up and try to trick them into saying something that will cause them not to get their visa.

Your husband needs to listen to you and trust your judgement but men can be very stubborn. Sarahch send your documents to your husband. Spend the money and send them to him Fed-Ex about $90 and then all he has to do is take the package you sent to the courier in Pakistan. This will be all the work he has to do.

iA you guyz will come out of AP very soon and get visa in short time...all prayers and Duas with you

LOL

thank you for the laugh,I needed that. he does realize things when he cools down, I am working on him slowly, did they ask u for the additional proofs before second interview or after?

They asked for more pics only but I took more than what they asked and they were so amazed to see all that and I myself feel that on window both CO & Applicant are not convenient and interview in a room is more better to present all details with ease. At 2nd I felt like they are gonna issue visa right now coz of the way they treated me so well with lot of respect and cool charming behavior but unfortunately 18 Months passed after 2nd...and my wife came to Paki after 2 months when we saw them careless about us and spent 11 months together...she left 3 months ago and now again coming back to Paki after meeting her family...

Have more patience and you will win...But always eat chocolotes when u r tensed and recite...Long Live VJ 3 times...LOL

chill and cheers

That is great advice and very funny AaliPDX786. Before they issued my husband's visa we had to provide proof that we still had a relationship. So you also be prepared to provide this information along with a letter from your beautiful wife. My husband never gave up. I did but he always encouraged me. He felt I would be unhappy living in Pakistan and didn't want to lose me so he put all his trust in that someday he would get his visa.

Her husband will send the papers to the embassy, i'm sure of that. He just needs some time to get his emotions under control.
