Hello everyone,

I had my interview on April 25 2016 and was asked to submit some documents. I submitted those documents, but I was asked a to submit some more documents and timeline of my travel and stay in US. Last documents were submitted on June 29th. In a reply to my email I was told that my documents were pending review but today I sent an email again and to which they replied the following:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our record indicates that your submitted documents were received, reviewed and found to be acceptable in support of your visa application. However, the administrative processing on your visa application is still pending. Once it is done, our office will contact you soon.

Sincerely,

Correspondence & Support Unit,

Visa Section,

US Embassy, Islamabad.

Just give them time to finish their work on your case, looks good that they are satisfied with the papers you submitted.

Hello everyone!

Here's my experience of AP process (221G white slip given after the interview of my husband at the ISL embassy)

Case is CR1 (Spousal Visa)

-Interview was on 18 August

-CO told my husband to wait a month and he will hear something from them, no approval or good news was given at that point but the AP white slip.

- First 3 weeks no updates

-Only 1 real update on 13 Sep then on the 15th status changed from AP to ISSUED in the afternoon.

-Our AP was resolved in 3 weeks and 4 days, thankfully it took less than a month.

-I wish all of you the best, it is only a matter of weeks and the good news will come your way. Don't email them too much, just be patient and keep on praying; stay strong for your spouse as this could be quite tough for both partners; as I've already experienced it. Inshallah everyone will get it soon.

Congrats on the visa. I am not sure about it, I was under the impression that US Embassy Islamabad was closed from September 12 till September 15 on account of Eid holidays. If you got visa issuance, doesnt that mean it was working day for US Embassy Islamabad on September 15?
