finally got issued !!
I have been a silent reader almost since one year I wanna share my story with you guys,
my case was simple but at the same time Very very stress full.after almost one year of my marriage I had my interview in Oct 2014 my husband were with my at interview after hardly 5 mins co handed over green 221g and asured us your case is clear you wil get your visa soon and kept my Pasport now the black hole administrative processing begins:(

till 6 months there were no reply no updates after this they starTed replying our emails and my case updated only when I got again and again same standard ap reply on 9th month I requested my passport back me n my hubby went on vacation and I submitted my Pasport back without their request than again no response we contacted senator.and.congressmen they always get the same standard reply they cant help in ap I guess than after 10.5 months first time case updated by own and consecutively update 4 days 5th day no.update than on 6th day 1 Oct they call me to send them fresh mediecal and said your documents going to be expire on 20th Oct if you'll send us medical before 20th than you dont have to come for fingerprints and interview I said ok I sent them.medical on 3rd Oct they didnt updated when.they received It I always call on.ustravel docs Num Tu confirm if Embasy receive my Doc or.not so after sending medical no.update we ask help from.congressmen for.this.silence than he told us on 15 your.visa got approved.you will get upadate.soom than we got update 2updates 15,16 and than 17,18 was weekend and.on 19th Oct got issued got my after that tracked my Pasport on.ustravledocs website on 21 it was ready to pick up I.got email too the same day and picked up my Pasport on 21 Oct..yeyyyyyyy going In a week or two rally happy to live with my hubby finally
I will always pray for all those.who.stuck.in ap to get issued inshaALLAH have hope and faith you will hear a good news soon...

Guys i just wanted to ask something. My wife will have her medical done in about a week from now as we are travelling. So when she gets back to pakistan she will have it done. But should i have her fill up and electronically submit the ds260 form in the meantime and emAil the barcode confirmation page to the embassy this week?

Or should we wait till she does her medical before doing the ds260?

U should ideally wait till having received her medical report. But some people submit it before too. In either case u will only have your appointment scheduled after u post your report, photos and print of ds 260 confirmation to isb embassy.

Thanks hammad. But can i ask you, what makes you say ideally wait till having received the medical report. Is it written that way somewhere that i have missed it. Or it doesnt matter whether u do it before or after. As u said it will scheduled only when the receive the other things via courier, but then u also said "ideLly". Just for clarification. Thanks.

Once one doctor's assistant said that u should submit after, for the reason that if God forbid the medical is not fine, they have time to treat the patient, and do medical again.

Two more questions everyone.

1. It says in the email they sent my wife that submit a copy of the confirmation page of ds260 to their office along with the medical report and pictures. So im assuming that has to be done through the courier. But is it also recommended to email a copy of the barcode confirmation page of ds260 to them? Becoz thats what i see most people have done. So is this recommended? If so dos it help or expedite anything or why else have most people emailed the barcode to the embassy along with sending it via courier as well?

2. When we logged into the ceac website and entered our nvc invoice number, it showed that our affidavit and iv fees are paid and we should start the iv application, however, in the civil documents sections and aos documents section, it said n/a in both. Is this normal ? Did most of you see it like n/a as well or is it just us? Does it matter if it says n/a?

1. You can do both if you like, but make sure you send it through Amex as that is a more safe and sure way to know they received the confirmation code.

2.It is totally normal that is says n/a Thats how it is written when the case is complete at NVC, nothing to worry about.
