Hello everyone,

You have been amazing on this site, everyone on here makes this site a truly invaluable resource.

I am trying to figure out where we are on my petition for my fiancee's K-1 visa.

Yesterday I received an e-mail from the USCIS stating the following:

*** DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL ***

There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: [xxxxxxxxx]

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On November 18, 2014, we approved your Form I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), Receipt Number [xxxxxxxxx]. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your approval notice by December 18, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I was hoping to confirm if this is what it sounds to me like, which is the 2nd notice of action listed in the K-1 flowchart.

I only ask because it has been less than one month since I sent the original I-129F petition, so this seems much faster than other people have reported.

Thanks!

Thanks again everyone. This is a huge weight off.

If this somehow gets anywhere close to wrapping up by the end of the year that would be incredible, as I'm moving from Tokyo back to NYC in early 2015 and she cannot go until we have the K-1 locked down.
