Hi,

I tried to call customer service and they are of no help. I would like to ask those people who had successfully submitted their N400 how they did this part. Hope to hear some feedback especially for those who used the new N400 forms. I would like to ask those who just recently filed their N400 about some of the items in the forms.

1. Did you put N/A on all blank fields (either by computer or by hand if the computer doesn't allow N/A). Lets say:

Part 3. No.3 If you only have one other name, did you put N/A on the second box

Part 3. No.4 If you already answered NO, did you still need to put N/A on the box if it states only print if you answered YES.

Part 11. No 29. Did you put N/A or just left it blank?

2. Almost same as First question: Mailing address:If it is the same as the above, did you left it blank or put N/A. I know previous instructions says to put "SAME" but the new N400 instructions doesn't say that.

3. Part 11. No.39 and 40. I already answered NO on number 38, Do we need to answer 39 and 40 with NO even if are not member of Armed Forces.Or did you left it blank?

This will be of great help because we will be assured that the answers we put wont be a problem in regards to acceptance of N400 as previous applicants didn't had problems with it.

Thanks a lot

Yes accepted and now in line to be scheduled for interview.

For the mailing address if it's different from the main address above put the new address, if not you don't have to write anything leave it blank.

Thanks a lot. That cleared things up.I thought I had to put N/A for all empty boxes as some people suggested. I was thinking it might be a problem if you put N/A on mailing address. I'll just leave these items blank.

Lastly, how about the Part 11. questions 39 and 40, do I still need to answer NO if I already answered NO to question 38?

Best of luck on the interview.

I wrote in N/A in every single box that I didn't answer with a typed answer.

As for q38 I think I said No and then N/A for 39 & 40.
