Hi everyone,

I am a US citizen by naturalization, I have my brother "married and have 3 years old kid" and my sister "married and no kids" living in Egypt.

I want to sponsor then to come to the US "Green Card", is it true that it takes from 9-12 years to get their green card?

What if i apply for visiting Visa for them, can i sponsor them while them r living here in the US? How long it takes to get their green card if we apply from the US while they r here "California"

Please Advice, thx

Yes, it will take that long depending on the priority dates.

They can apply for Tourist visa on their merits, showing strong ties to home country and why they would return home after US visit.

But they can't live in US to wait 9-12 years for the green cards.

Please Advice, thx

I thought 12 to 14 years would be a better guess.

Anyway the sooner you apply the sooner their number will come up. US or Egypt makes no difference.
