I have been feverishly refreshing CEAC since my interview on the 12th and when I refreshed it this time it said Administrative Processing! :cry: Which I know only to be a bad thing!!

Is there a chance that it goes to AP before going to ISSUED for everybody?? Or am I buckling my seatbelt and sitting back? My fiance and I have no criminal history, no medical issues... I was born and raised in Canada and so were my parents. And his family was born and raised in the USA and so were his parents... So what could this be? Please someone enlighten me. I really want to be with my fiance for Christmas.

Hi again! I'm so happy to hear this... So it's just another step along the way then. :( Reading a lot isn't always a good thing.

Thank god I'm back to work tomorrow so I can occupy my mind with other things.

Hi everyone,

My interview was in Montreal on November 13th, on Friday it was changed to Administrative Processing, and this afternoon my status changed to ISSUED on the CEAC website. There hasn't been any change on the CSC website where they receive updates from Loomis. Fingers crossed that it will be here this week!!

Wow crazy! Your interview was a day after mine and changed to issued before mine! I do wonder what goes on there! But that gives me sooo much hope! I'll be checking tomorrow for "ISSUED" !

AP is really normally for almost all K1 cases. They take longer to process than IR1 after the interview.

it ws NERVE WRACKING!! people were in AP for hours, and I was in AP for DAYS! But I got the email tonight that my visa is ON ITS WAY woohoo!

Except it's friday...

So I'll likely get it Monday!!! IM SO HAPPY!!! i dont even want to think about the next step for a month. Now it's time to enjoy the christmas season and put my blinders up for a bit lmao!

People go into AP for weeks. At least this isn't Pakistan or another middle eastern country where you could spend years. :)
