42 so far to date. The preznit does not have this power.

Ill-conceived, poorly-executed, intrusive, expensive, widely-reviled by a majority of citizens, burdensome and absurdly written. Thanks O'bama.

And yet, it remains the best health care reform in more than thirty years. Why? Because our republican friends have used any opportunity to kill badly needed reform.

Whatever was wrong with the US healthcare system, the problems required tweaking, not disassembly and destruction. And according to you, it's just fine this "reform" was accomplished via blatant lies told repeatedly and shamelessly to 316,000,000 citizens.

Nothing was disassembled or destroyed. The healthcare system functions largely the same way it has for decades. The main difference is that is now far more inclusive and offers more protections for the consumer. Healthcare inflation hasn't been as low as it is in decades. All far from perfect but it is a hell of a lot better than what it was.

Interesting that one would complain about being lied to and then do nothing but lie in the very same post. Telling, really.

No the reform was not fine, but it probably was the best that could be accomplished given the scare campaign against any reform. And no, tweaking was not enough to reform a grotesquely unfair system, which essentially gave rich people huge tax breaks for getting health insurance, whilst everyone else was told to work hard don't complain or they will get fired and loose health insurance. People fighting serious illnesses were dropped by their insurance carriers because they ticked the wrong box twenty years previously on an insurance application. Only fools or psychopaths think that the pre Obama care days were the good old days.

We need more reform, but we don't need to regress to an even worse system.
