I believe a significant number of people voted for Obama simply because he was black…or at least half black. It was not the black people who elected him,because they vote for Democrats anyways.

About 6 months ago I was fairly confident this would be the case, but the political winds have shifted in favor of the Republicans. The next two years are crucial for both parties to rise above the bs and get some things done in order for them to win the Presidency. I think the party that shows the most bipartisanship will also give us the next President.

I voted for Obama and I have no problem admitting that I am not happy with a lot of what he has done. Race has nothing to do with it as far as I'm concerned, but there are people who do go after him simply because he is black.
