It actually makes complete sense for this thread to die on the vine. It's very clear that a couple of VJ members engage in personal and racially charged attacks toward anyone who makes strong statements about the current regime in Washington. I had a little extra time today to repeatedly address the topic of the thread, which really annoyed a couple of folks. Personally, I find some of the comments to be an affirmation that their political ideology is in deep doo doo and can allow it to roll off like water from a duck's back.

There is really nothing more to add to the topic as you're looking at 13 pages of nonsense. What's the point to continue?

I've repeatedly stated that this particular forum is a place that some folks take way too seriously. None of what's written here amounts to a hill of beans as to what's going on in the world of politics. I'm not going to change your mind, and it's unlikely any prog anywhere will change mine. It's just a few opinions about stuff where a couple of folks have actually deluded themselves into believing that these are political debates with integrity enforced by the tinfoil and face palmers united.
