If you can avoid USPS the better. US has no problem sending it here, but Phil postal takes forever to deliver it. I don't have the experience but ive read several long delay delivery of mails/parcel from US to Phil from this visa journey site. I suggest use fedex instead.

My fiance from the US sent something and it took more than a month for the Phil post to deliver and it was already open. Avoid it as much as possible. I hear Fed-Ex or DHL are better.

If it is Phil-post, after a month and two days to be exact, I got a notice from them that I have a package and I needed to pick it up from their office and pay another fee for something I can't remember, its disappointing because it was already opened when I got it. I'm not sure if they call people to pick up package from there. I didn't get any call, but like I said, I got a notice in the mail. Good luck.

Never use USPS - PhilPost for delivering anything of importance. PhilPost sucks big time! Always use DHL, UPS or FEDEX.

Hopefully your letter will show up before too long... hopefully.

Don't know the address for the post office in Cavite, sorry. Try this: https://www.phlpost.gov.ph/post-office-location.php

Only document for the interview that needs to be an original is the I-134, the copy of the most recent tax return and W-2 can be emailed. Just in case you want to resent these, only sending one piece of paper may be cheaper ;)

Nope they won't call you, instead the mail carrier will leave you a notice letter during his 2nd or the last attempt of delivery. That happened to me last year. His (mail carrier) 1st attempt in delivering my parcel in my house was Tuesday then the next day he went back again to my house and no one was there except my neighbor. The mail carrier trusted my neighbor to leave the notice letter to her and she then gave it to me when l got home. The following day, l went to main postal office in Pasay to pick up my parcel. Also l presented with them my notice letter and one valid lD.

I had the worse experience with USPS.. I would never again use them. They are worse at international or domestic. When my husband send something from India it took two months to get to me. My document was sitting in New York for months every time i called USPS they would give me run around. OMG I went crazy. I though maybe their Domestic service was better but nope.. I recently send some document to NVC in New Hampshire. My mail was sitting in OPA Locka Florida for week. I called customer service no one would help me. They are such a mess...

Here's how bad the philippine post office is... I send my greeting cards to my fiancee every other week, and there have been several situations wherein she doesn't receive anything for two months and then the next day find FIVE greeting cards waiting for her at home, the earliest one dated two months prior...

And there was also that instance where I sent her some important documents that she hasn't received in a month, and I told her to go to her local post office to check - and they found out that the documents have been in the post office for almost two weeks but they said they could not find a guy to deliver it to her address because there was so few people receiving mail in her place and they were waiting for enough mail to come in to make it worth their trip :clock:

I told her that if the US Post Office did the same thing, there will be class action lawsuits... oh well...

I sent a card to my fiancee via USPS and it took 8 to 10 weeks.

Basically we had given up on it, and finally it showed up one day.

The USPS stamp was made the same day, but I don't know where it got lost

and sat for 2.5 months before being delivered.

I don't know if this problem was on US side or in China side.

In any case, after that horrible experience, I used FedEx, which

promptly delivered in 3 or 4 working days.
