I would find this very difficult to convince an officer that he entered without the intent to marry. You have decided you want to get married after him only being here 10 days..You will be asked all sorts of questions regarding your relationship including when he proposed to you and when you decided to get married. I just think everything will raise red flags in this relationship when you attempt to adjust if you get married and he stays. I really hope you think this one through and have him go back home. You really need do things the right way and at least get to know each other longer so that you can prove that you do have a genuine relationship. There are some people that still get refused at the adjustment of status stage and he could be banned if you do get refused. Please keep in mind that simply being married to USC doesn't protect him from anything. If you decide to get married, I think it would definitely be in your best interest to have him go back home and you do the CR-1 route so that at least if you get refused you have the option to appeal a refusal.

He won't be the first or last person to be grilled when visiting. Just have him visit you again but make the duration shorter and he more than likely won't be sent to secondary. If he does get sent to secondary all he has to show is strong ties back home. Have him travel with documents supporting his ties. Also, if you apply for the K-1 visa have him carry a copy of your submitted application. A letter from his employer when he is expected back at work, bank statements and a rental lease will show ties back home as well. My fiance carried all of this when he came and even though they sent him to secondary he was allowed to enter both times. I know it's a scary thought to think that he would be refused entry but as long as everything is on the up and up, he will be allowed to come back and visit you even while your K-1 application is being processed.

London won't take very long to process out of. Your wait will be processing out of Texas Service Center but with a bit of patience you will make it.The best things in life are worth waiting for

My two cents: your options are stay, marry and adjust; marry,leave and file spousal visa or; leave and file for k1 visa....

Just as a subject to think about... you said you have already 3 children, don't know if they like him, don't know how or if they will get along with your fiance for more than a few weeks or more if you decide to marry and above all, at least in my culture is really difficult for a mom with any girl to remarry because we are really conservative and overcautious of our girls safety and well being,I'm not saying he is a bad person at all,but you just met him in person 10 days ago and I guess I just heard so many bad things in the world.... but just be careful with your babies, because the little ones are always the ones that get hurt the most with our choices.

August 2000: We start e-mailing. I'm in Bosnia, she's in Florida

October 29th 2000: She sends me e-mail asking if I would marry her

October 29th 2000(5 seconds later): I say yes

November 2000: She sends me tickets to Orlando for when I get back

December 6th 2000: Return from Bos

December 11th 2000: Fly to Orlando, she meets me at airport

March 6th 2003: We leave US for UK as family

Early April 2003: Family troubles make her return to US, I ask Embassy in London about possibilities of returning to US

April 16th 2003: London Embassy informs me that I will be banned from the Visa Waiver Program for 10 years, my little boys first birthday

June 13th 2006: I-129f sent

August 11th 2006: NOA1 Recieved

After our relationship breaks down she admits to me that she had never bothered to start the application process

It's really not unusual since we are processing out of California Service Center. If you look at others that are processing out of California they are pretty close to ours. Some take a bit longer, but California is processing very quickly compared to Texas that does have a rather long wait due to them being back logged. They were transferring cases to California for awhile. Not sure what they are doing now though.

You have to prove you can support 5 of you. You, your 3 children and him. Look up the guidelines for what you need to be earning to show you meet the requirements. You can get a co-sponsor as well.

What is your age and what is his age? From the pictures and your children, it appears you are substantially older than he is. Do you think this is typical for a man of his culture to marry a substantially older woman. Have you really thought about the motives involved here?

Thank you, life throws these things at us and it's how you pick yourself up that determines who you are.

Other than being seperated from my kids life is good now.

But it could serve as a caution to the OP. I met my ex online and had myself convinced before we ever met that she was the only one for me. So much so that when we finally did meet I had already told myself so much that I was in love with her that I overlooked lots of warning signs I should have spotted when we eventually met in person. It left me financially devastated, emotionally wary and I now find I'm at present unable to take my new girlfriend to one of the top vacation countries in the world.

Falling in love is a wonderful rollercoaster of emotions, rushing in to marriage with someone you've only just met in person should only be done with caution.

Nope this was all done this year. We received N02 in 8 days from when they received our application. We are waiting for NVC and London processing now

What was his reasoning for leaving his return ticket behind? IMHO that is what started the questioning at the airport when he arrived.

On this forum, I thought such words meant AOS approval and green card issued.
