Submitted evidence - no NOA and case status doesn't show

We submitted our RFE documents close to a month ago to the USCIS on Laguna Niguel, CA. Up to this date we haven't received NOA and the case doesn't come up when we search for it on the case status website. Not sure what the problem is. We have a receipt from FedEx showing that our packet was delivered to the USCIS on 10/9/14. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Is it possible they lost it? What is the next step?

Any advice would be appreciated.

You generally don't receive another NOA for RFE submissions. Are you using the case number on your biometrics letter when checking the website? That is the one you need to try, not the one on your original NOA.

Day 0 - 2 May 2012 Mailed AOS package overnight delivery
Day 139 - 17 September 2012 Interview & APPROVED on the Spot!! :)
Day 145 - 23 September 2012 Received Green Card!

ROC - Eligible June 19 2014

Day 0 - 18 June 2014 Mailed ROC package via 2 day priority

Day 42 - 29 July 2014 Approval and Card Production Email

Day 49 - 5 August 2014 Received Green Card

Thanks! I did that and got a response stating that our case is in initial review. They only refereed to our initial I751 application. The RFE was not mentioned.

Well..that answers my question. Thanks!

PS - does the fact it's been about a month since we've sent it mean that there's a problem? I've seen

some other posters time line who recieved their green card after 2-3 weeks or even less.

It varies case to case so you can't have an exact timeline for RFE, mine took 10 days to get an approval. Don't worry much, you will get a response before you even know it. Good luck.
