What is it you are trying to track exactly?

You don't have case complete yet?

Until you have that and have interview then your case goes to Ready. It's when it goes to embassy after interview is scheduled you see status update.

My example

wohoooo my interview is tomorrow at the panama us embassy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was way to nervous a month ago and now I'm just like ok! but I'm scare of getting super nervous tomorrow and forgetting everything i already know! lol i forgot my husbands address in the medical appointment so dumb!!! wish me luck I will tell you how it goes tomorrow i got everything they asked me for and more

Hi vjs, So my wife's interview is on a month, luckily my lawyer was really good and we did not get any checklist or anything, today I had an appointment to meet with them and talk about our case my wife's was in the states when she was a minor and was here after her temp visa expired and as soon as she was 18 she left the USA so now my lawyer told me that there might be a chance that her visa won't be approved right away, :'( now I'm nervous we been waiting for this moment and now I don't know what to think, I need some support here

For Australia? Told you all I ave is CC 21st. Have you called to ask are they done with Australia scheduling.

To request an expedite you would have to call NVC with the reason and they will want you to send in the evidence. NVC is far more strict on policy of expedite and then they notify the embassy who gives permission or denies based on slots.

Thank you so much for answering me again. I did not ask specifically about Australia but she seemed pretty uncommunicative. To be honest I had the most terrible headache and felt physically sick at the time. I have just been to bed for a couple of hours and feel a little better. I am not sleeping and the whole stress of it is taking its toll. I have two teenagers who are banking on getting home for Christmas and that dream is fading. I am trying so hard to keep everybody's spirit is up. Will just have to wait and see how it pans out.

NVC usually has a second round of interview scheduling around the 10th. :idea: I hope they have a second round this month. :star:

If so, you may get your interview date this Friday or next Monday. :yes: Fingers crossed! :thumbs:

BTW, I always thought spending Dec in Down Under would be really nice since it's summer there! :content::content::content:

CONGRATULATIONS!!! SO HAPPY TO HEAR THIS!

Just a quick update for the group, my husband Steve's visa was delivered today from the US Embassy in London. So happy!!!

Had an interview for IR-1 VISA today at the embassy in Paris and it was approved!! :goofy:
