How is he helping the "oppressed?"

That's "revolutionary rhetoric" that I don't 'get' at a visceral level, but clearly the "community organizer in chief" does. "You didn't build that" spoken in contemptuous tones to business founders, or telling working stiffs that "at a certain point, you've made enough money"; he's all about "class struggle", while simultaneously partying with A-listers on the taxpayers' dime.

I could definitely see him screwing up the country for no other reason than taking his socialist theories out for a spin.

I totally agree with your post, and its a unfair and unconstitutional the way immigration works against the people that deserve it, but doesn't apply to the illegals that it was written for.

has been going on for decades with Illegals crossing over the boarder and getting welfare and free hospital care, etc. Its a country that if your born ILLEGALLY, you LEGALLY become a US Citizen! Huh? Its like saying I illegally stole/obtained an item, but I legally own it...

The CDC is protected from any damages from their vaccinations, and suing the Government is hardly if ever successful. All the luck to you and those that which to go down that road, lets face it, there are so many crimes against humanity by the US Government in the past, and they have never been held accountable...

Politicians are greedy. He really think the Republicans are better. If they were they would put a stop to this illegal flow instead of pretending they are against it. They both are benefiting from it.

Thankfully some are rational enough to see that. The Republicans are just as bad, they have their own agenda that benefits them. Notice how neither party supports mandatory E-Verify? That would go a long way to cut down on illegal immigration. But it's much better to put on your tinfoil hat and pretend that one person is responsible for it all.

If only it was just about immigration. What's with the IRS targeting thing and all the associated coverups? How about AG Holder 'weaponizing' the DOJ? Fast & Furious? Anonymous foreign donors to both of O'bama's campaigns? His war of rhetoric on Israel? Solyndra (and all the other 'green' scandals)? Prosecution of whistleblowers? All the while crowing about "rule of law" and "transparency".

He's a charismatic guy; apparently he's found (or fostered) enough koolaid drinkers to do his bidding. <_<

This is by far the most lawless administration in living memory. Immigration "reform" is just one tiny slice of what this preznit's doing to the US.

Whatever you say. I don't think you can report me for that.

I have said on more than one occasion we should get together and do this. No one supported me. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one out here suffering and wanting to do something about it!!

We were just waiting for someone with lighter skin to suggest it.

I'd jump on board too, but would need to know more of the particulars. Of course, finding a firm to represent folks who did the process legally and without any problems... that might be tough. Not sure how far the "I had to pay for mine but they got theirs for free" argument would get in court.

I don't pretend to have the answers but I am hoping if this moves forward and gains momentum, that it will all become clear.

As of now, I am searching for an attorney who will take the case. Typically, I am running into immigration lawyers who only want to deal with petitions and immediate family concerns. They are not interested in larger cases like this. I know they are out there, just have to find them.

I don't think you'll have a problem finding a lawyer who will take your money ;-)

I will keep this thread updated as I move ahead. Appreciate all the conversation and support, I know it's a subject of passion for many people. I also believe this is a rabbit hole of considerable depth and even though I may not be the best at articulating it, know that this is a valid course of action with valid concerns.

Back to topic.

I would like to see who is interested in possibly filing a class action lawsuit against the federal government.

That's gonna cost a ton of money, no matter how many people you get onboard. I'd suggest publicity might be the best weapon here: it's free, and the story tells itself and immediately makes sense to every American (because the preznit's 'policy' doesn't).

I was astonished to see how many folks I'd tell of a one-year wait for visas (while folks were encouraged to freely stream across the southern border) were completely unaware of what was involved in a US citizen getting a visa for a loved one the right way. These are the people to target with information, be it newspaper articles, op-eds, blogs, etc.

For what? Breach of contract -- what contract? Some tort claim -- what damage do you claim? A civil rights violation -- which of your rights have been abridged? Just saying you want to "sue" without actually stating any potential causes of action isn't very persuasive.

Beyond that, good luck overcoming sovereign immunity, dudes.

Slow your roll woman! This is Murica we'll sue anyone at anytime for anything. And if we can sue you, we'll shoot you!!

I would love to see this at the angle of fair treatment and inequality. Again, we were promised priority service as a USC and we are not getting it. Please keep me updated.
