Hi Hank thank you very much for your quick reply. So meaning I can't re-entry in America in December without my real green card? so maybe next day after my arrival in America I will start calling USCIS to ask my green card? :) Do you have contact number in USCIS that I can talk to a real person? Thanks again.

aiyo.

If what Hank_ wrote lead you to this conclusion,

then Hank_ 's advice was dead wrong.

She not need to chase after any document or stamp at a USCIS office after arrival, Hank_ ,

as

being an IR-1 visa holder,

she gets a stamp at the POE, that turns her visa into a temporary 1 year green card, an I-551 document. She could turn around same day, after exiting POE, and get on another plane back to the PI, and be allowed multiple entries into the USA, up to one year, based on that endorsement stamp at the POE.

It's sweet, but K-1 visa chasers don't get this, at all.

Thanks, that sound like what I had read, but it had been some time ago I read it. So it is a breeze to do what she wants. Excellent.

Except for dealing with people in the Philippines, who typical say you can't when they're faced with something they've never seen before.

You know I agree with you 110% but I keep my mouth shut for details because it might someone don't like what I might rant regarding dealing with people in PH.LOL......zip lips.....Thanks Caryh.

you can rant here a lot,

as

it helps other folks coming up behind you.

Look, it _SHOULD BE_ dead easy, with the endorsement stamp, but

most of the desk staff have not been trained on it,

why it's suddenly an I-551 document,

or even WHAT an I-551 document is.

So, rant away. Seriously ! Bring It !

Why? Those @#$@ tardos at the airport feel so much entitlement, they need to be smacked down, viciously, when blatantly wrong.

Usually a shift supervisor knows all of the documents, be prepared to ask for this human, quickly.

wait for your your GC to arrive then you can travel again

Disagree. In Toto !

But hey - I'm trainable.

Please tell me, exactly, why you would say this?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
