We Got Our NOA2 in the Mail Today! Yay!!! :)

Hello! We received our NOA2 in the mail today! My fiancé did not receive any text or email so we didn’t know that we got approved and the hardcopy was on its way. Maybe it’s better like that.

My fiancé was so good in relaying the news to me. Usually I would be the one asking him everyday if he received any text. Today, he was the one who started the topic by saying that he didn’t receive any text, BUT… he got a letter. I was nervous because I was thinking that it might be an RFE because we didn’t receive any notification. He didn’t say right away if we were approved or what which made me more nervous and excited. He was also so cool and emotionless because he wanted to surprise me so I didn’t think that we got approved.

Then he sent me a copy of the NOA2 and I also checked it online. It says Post Decision Activity dated October 24, 2014. I’m not sure if it was approved earlier than that or that is the approval date. I was set not to check it this week so I won’t be sad and I'll just get surprised if we got approved. It is indeed a very beautiful surprise! It’s funny that I was worrying and at the same time telling my fiancé that I feel we’d get it this week, when all along it’s already approved. Praise God! We are so happy and excited!

When should we start calling NVC? It says in the letter to allow a minimum of 30 days, but I’ve seen others here who called earlier than that. What’s your suggestion? Thank you again to everyone and I hope and pray that the others also get approved soon!

give NVC a call 7-10 days after receiving NOA2...it wouldn't hurt...i will be calling them myself this coming friday

Try to call the NVC 2 to 3 weeks after your approval to get the MNL Case #. I got mine after 19 days.
