My husband and I have our interview tomorrow at 11 am. I can't believe it's here! I've got a fat binder full of documentation so I really hope all goes well. Getting quite nervous now, but I'm also confident that I've gathered everything that I can. I'll be back tomorrow and report the results and let everyone know my interview experience.

Hi all, I'm back with an update about today's interview. We were approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had the interview scheduled for 11 at the Chatsworth (California) office, but they were running late so we were called in probably around 12. I was surprised at how quick everything went. From the start to approval was about 5 minutes. Our IO had us swear to tell the truth, then asked if we had any documents to give him. I gave two joint bank account statements, and other financial forms for IRAs and credit cards. He then asked my husband about his work, mainly what type of work it was and a few questions about that. It seemed to be to be more out of interest than checking to make sure we were in line with any rules, but I'm not sure. Then he asked me where we met, so I said that I was studying abroad and we had met through mutual friends at that time. Then he took the photos I had printed off and included them in our file, but didn't look through them or ask any questions about them. I had personal letters & emails as well, but we didn't end up needing to show those. Then he said "Everything looks good here" and gave us a congratulatory approval letter and said to expect the physical green card in the mail once it is processed.

To those still waiting, I wish you the best of luck. I think I probably over-prepared given the fact that I didn't need half the things I'd printed off and organized, but if I was going to do it again I'd still want to have everything well documented because you never know what kind of IO you'll get or what they'll want to see.
