immunization and vaccination in the us

I just had my medical exam yesterday at st lukes clinic. They were concerned that bcoz of my irregular cycle they might not administer any vaccines and immunization on me. So I opted to have my shots in the US.

Question: will this affect my embassy interview? I am scheduled this oct 28. I am abit worried.... can someone answer? Thanks....

Does the CO require me to have them?

If I havent changed to have my immunization in the US I had a feeling that my name wont be called out and further delay my waiting........

It is not a requirement for K1/K2 visas to have your immunizations completed before the interview. You will need to show you have had them or get them done in the US when you adjust status.

did u got ds 3025 from st luke yesterday? as much as possible it would b better if u get done w all shot that you need so as you get here in US you dont need to see a civil surgeon just to have all this vaccine to get done.it would cost $200( which my classsmate paid for her husband shot ) as and some other civil surgeon clinic they still want to do the whole medical thing even our medical is good for a year just for them to get more $ which cost almost $450

but no it woudnt gonna affect your interview but as "wbeem"say you need that vaccine before you file your aos/

Are you a K-1? You did not specify. Assuming you are, you don't need the shots until you get to the US.

But they are awfully expensive here. So even if you have to go back to St Luke's to get them, financially it is adviseable.

Yes I am a k1. I will just have it in the US im afraid st luke wont give me shots til I seek an OB eventhough irreg cycle are common to women lol. Thanks to all who replied

I had my k1 visa interview yesterday. Really nerve racking but I passed! Thank God I passed! And thank you all for responding to all my questions. God bless you
