Welcome to the forum.

When in doubt, follow the official I-129F instructions: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Amazing! Thank you for the quick replies! So far, the payment part has been the only thing to stump me.

One more question, again may be silly... This fee, is it the $265 as stated on the USCIS website? Is that the most current fee? Or is it the $340 as stated on the I-129F instruction form as posted above? CONFUSED! Hahaha.

Thank you again!

Do you mean the I-129f petition fee or the K-1 visa fee? These are separate fees and paid at different stages of the process.

I thought you meant the petition fee, but now I'm not sure. You have a date on your timeline for sending the petition, but it's in the future.

My apologies! I do believe I meant the petition fee.

Initial package is all ready to be sent off on Monday, pending we can figure out what amount we are sending with it.

I shouldn't be using my brain this late at night - it's 1:30 here - but it's one of those things that's keeping me awake. Haha.

I thank you again for your assistance, it is greatly appreciated!

$340, make sure the check is written out as per the I129F instructions say to do so. They happily will take your money with a big grin. ;-p

Your beneficiary will be the one paying the other fee when it's time.

Amazing! Thank you so, so much!

I think that's it as far as the complete package! All ready to be sent off bright and early Monday! Wish us luck!

Yay congratulations, the paper work side of things in my opinion is the most stressful part as its the only part you really have control of. All I will say is triple check every single question on forms, make sure all signatures are there and original and ensure you have everything listes of the VJ's k1 guide. Make sure you also have 3 copies of everything (one to send, one to send to beneficiary and one for oopies). Best of luck :)

Ah! I'm so glad you mentioned the original signature. We've been scanning the forms to send them back and forth. We'll overnight the originals and be a day behind but on the proper track again! Thank you guys so much!

While I'm here... The answer to the 34a portion of the I-129f, ours is pretty detailed, is that okay? We typed up an extra single page of our meetings (thankfully we live pretty close - 7 hour drive) And we're able to spend a lot of time actually together. Do we list every visit over the 2 year period as requested or just a quick breakdown?

Thanks again!

Yup best to be safe the sorry, the less stress the better.

I think with that its more a personal preference obviously you don't want to right them a story book but if its to the point and informative then I'm sure its fine. I'm not sure how you've done it but if there has been many visits I would just put so and so visited me here on several occasions and list the dates and vice versa. I think on how we literally only wrote the he visited me on such an such for X ammount of time, I visited him on such and such and we wrote that for both our visits to one another, totaling 4 in the last 2 years, we didn't go into any details of what we did etc, was literally a paragraph, got approved no problem. But as I said its honestly personal preference, as long as it's not a huge story and they can scan for dates that match up etc.
