Our application has been accepted on April 3.

We have received the Notice of "Potential Interview Waiver" dated July 10, so it's been 3 months and 10 days already. The letter says it can take 6 months before we receive an answer about our case.

How long did you have to wait after receiving the Notice of Potential Interview Waiver before you got an approval?

Did you have an Interview? We are trying to get an idea about what to expect. Any response will be appreciated.

Approval times after receiving the letter vary. I have seen everything from a few days to over a year, so the six month mark is nothing you can really rely on. As for me, I received my approval 2 months after the letter (I did, however, not receive the letter until the 6-month-mark, so it came out to a total wait of 8 months).

Very few people do get an interview after receiving the letter, but there is always a slim chance.

Raflen,

We recv'd the same letter and hopefully we should hear something in January. All you can do is just wait and make sure you dont get past any expiration dates. We decided to just wait it out. My husband is working and doing what he needs to do.

Kinda sucks not knowing how much longer we have but thats ok, we will just continue to work for our future. Hope you hear something soon.
