Hi,

You don't need the actual application, the CO will be able to see it on the computer. All you need is the confirmation page for the application with the barcode which you can get an extra copy of in their website.

This does not constitute legal advice.

Hello Everyone! Please i need help with a different situation with the DS 260 form.

We have an interview date and we are filling out form DS 260, my husband had a previous marriage which was done by regular family introduction which the embassy notified us that it is considered marriage by the constitution of Nigeria once there is an exchange of gifts. He does not remember the exact date that this was done and there is session about previous marriages in the DS 260. Can any one please advise how we can go about this? Thanks,

He needs to find out the date. He also needs a divorce certificate and needed one before you two were married or he will be denied.

I did not have my DS-260 at the interview as I guess I missed that I should have it. I had an interview appointment letter which was enough to get me into the embassy and the CO never asked for it.

I would bring it, not worth hassle or even having to come back to save on a printing a piece of paper.
