hi, im a filipina married to a US citizen .. we are processing my visa. we are already done passing all our ducoments to the .USCIS and nvc and we just receive an email from the nvc that they forward our papers to the US embassy manila.. and then i receive an email from the NVC regarding about the interview. but before that it was they reply when i was emailing the NVC about our case before they email us that they already done reviewing our papers. And now my concern is some of my friends telling me that im the one who should set an appointment in the embassy and also they are some that the NVC will be the one whos going to set the appointment for me cause my case is CR1. its kinda confusing .. the email that i receive is also kinda not what i expected. i will post the email i receive from the nvc. please tell me your opinion. i i should take an action and book already my flight for the said date on that email.

Hope for your kind and consideration

NVC sets your interview date because you're CR1. The people who are saying you should do it, are likely people who went through the K1 process.

the NVC will set up the interview date. after the interview it could take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks before you get your visa back so I would not book a flight till you get your visa back
