Preaching from Psalms 73, he discussed how David talks about how good God is, and yet he kept feeling like he was missing out while everyone else was having fun

Psalms 73

.1-5 No doubt about it! God is good—

good to good people, good to the good-hearted.
But I nearly missed it,
missed seeing his goodness.
I was looking the other way,
looking up to the people
At the top,
envying the wicked who have it made,
Who have nothing to worry about,
not a care in the whole wide world.

- The Message Bible

The pastor went on to teach and then preach that we must continue to focus (for us Christians or religious) on God and know that he has a plan for us. In some Gospel songs in the black church, we sing that "God is an on time God. He may not come when you want Him, but He'll be right on time." My pastor continued to speak on the fact that sometimes when we're doing the right thing, or have done the right thing as is the case with TSC, and we have to watch others be successful, and we lose focus on what we should be doing or finding ourselves resenting those other

Wise words. Thanks for sharing. One of my all time favorites is "If you want to give God a good laugh, tell him your plans". :) So true.
