I got an email that my A# has been changed for my I-130 application. what does it mean? I saw some people got get their approval shortly after they received this message... please let me know if you have similar experience. thanks

Means someone is touching your petition and an approval should be coming very soon.

When I was at USCIS this message came when they touched my file. But an approval did not come soon after, it took like 2-3 months after that for them to approve me.

My petition was at Nebraska and it took a little over 6 months to be approved.

I had heard people getting approved soon after that email too, then I got all happy n expected my case to be approved, but as I said above, the approval took a longer time to come.

That said, every case is different... n I hope u get approved soon, just dont get all excited n then be disappointed, this whole process is about patience n waiting...

As mentioned above, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will be getting approved soon. We got the same message on Aug 20 and have still not been approved.

11/06: Husband EWI from Mexico
11/08: Started dating

11/11: Husband got deported
1/11/14: Got married
3/13/14-11/2/14: I-130
1/26/15-3/17/15: NVC

5/28/15: INTERVIEW - denied

6/8/15: I-601/I-212 waivers received

11/17/15: I-601/I-212 waivers APPROVED

12/11/15: HUBBY HOME!! :dance:

thank you everyone for your responses. it has been a week since I got this email and I have not received anything... you are probably right and this message might be just an internal processing thing ... wish you all the best
