So I'm sending my paperwork in for K1 visa application. I wanted to just run down what i'm sending, because I'm a little neurotic about it. Forgive me!

  1. Form G-1145
  2. Cover Letter laying out what package includes.
  3. Check made out to US Dept of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs for $265
  4. Form I-129F filled and signed
  5. I-129F supplement: Part 2, Question 34.a explanation of how we met, when and where - signatured
  6. G-325A (Petitioner - myself) filled and signed by me with a Passport photo with my name written on the back, in a plastic ziplock bag taped to a separate sheet of paper, name also written on bag with black permanent marker.
  7. G-325A (Beneficiary - my fiance) filled and signed by her with a Passport photo with her name written on the back, in a plastic ziplock bag taped to a separate sheet of paper, name also written on bag with black permanent marker
  8. Proof of Citizenship - Birth certificate, Certificate of name change because, US passport scanned image as well as my NYS driver license (figured it can't hurt)
  9. 2 x Letter of Intent to marry, I used the examples on this site, changed the information and they're both signed by hand from her and myself
  10. Proof of having met in past 2 years - includes boarding passes, passport stamps, air plane ticket receipts that have my name address, and ticket information on it, apartment rental receipts, tickets and receipts from various parks, restaurants, museums. I also included 30 photographs. On most (but not all) I have written where, and when the pictures were taken, and who were in the pictures other than me and her (some of her family like her parents and sister). I also have photos of us holding up tickets and receipts to further show we were together (since some tickets have dates on them).
  11. Proof of Ongoing Relationship - includes emails of our initial conversations we had on the dating website we met through. 80 pages of Screen shots of skype conversations from the day we met up until September. (this means from December until September). I made sure to include lots of skype call timers showing we talk for at least 1 hour a day. Also, half of it is in Greek, so instead of actually translating everything, I included a cover letter stating that this was just to prove we speak on a daily basis. I included a few other pages including conversations with translation that were more meaning full, not just random chatter. The only thing I'm worried about is that most of our serious conversations we had via Skype and Viber calls. I also mentioned that via the cover letter.

This is all neatly packaged in a plastic paper covers, that is bound together like a booklet in the exact order listed. I know it's a lot so I made sure everything is displayed out neatly.
Am I good? Should I send it?

I don't think the DS 260 is included in the original application either.

The monetary amount should be $340 made out to the US Department of Homeland Security

Is it correct to say that the DS 260 is not included in the original petition as well?

Correct.

OP- what do you mean by bound together?

They have to be able to take the application apart and its advised to just use paper clips etc.

Presentation has no input.

It's all about content and ease of access.

I didn't separate mine or bind it in any form.

Just put it in an envelope and I was approved in less than a month.

Hi...the DS 160 is what is filled out after the NOA2 approval and you bring the confirmation page to the interview. Also when I submitted my package the fee was $340 but I know there were some fee changes so make sure you check on the USCIS website to be sure. I wouldn't bind it because like everyone stated they need to be able to take it apart. Your package look good just make sure you review everything and sign all of the forms. Good Luck

I went to US dept of state website. Here is a link.

http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/fees-visa-services.html

Under K visa, it shows $265. Is this wrong or is there some hidden fee that isn't accounted for?

How is the content, is the amount of content good? Do I have enough supporting documents?

The check should be made to "US Department of Homeland Security" for $340. If you are under the impression that you can file i129f for a k1 at a consular level, correct me if I'm wrong, but i don't think you can. you could only file it through USCIS.

They have to be able to take the application apart and its advised to just use paper clips etc.

The actual document pages are all unbound. They're inside individual clear plastic folders all bound together.

Ched to be honest I don't know. I just googled K1 visa fee and I got a government website showing 265. see the link I posted above and let me know, I could be wrong. Just trying to be thorough. Thank you everyone so much!
