Anyone recently apply for their US passport and go with expedited option?

If applied for through your senators office and paying the expedite fee.... I have normally seen 2-3 days return.

Overseas I have always seen the next day or 2 days at most. But those consulates/ Embassies were always small in comparison.

With expedite, you can get it in about a week if you pay for express mail(overnight) both ways.

You can also do same-day passport if you have a regional passport agency closer.

I went to regional and got it same day at a regional passport office. I explained to them why the urgency and got it in an hour.
