Question for the group. My CEAC site says "In Transit" but when I log into the "DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application" portal page the Affidavit of Support Fee has changed from N/A to Paid. Is this normal? Thank you.

No junk emails from NVC...well...that's to be determined...

! At least you won't have to deal with NVC ever again ... just USCIS in about 10 years after your POE!

Yep! No idea why it goes back to "Paid", but there isn't a lot of sense in this process as it is.

One last question, when the docs arrive at the Embassy what does the site update the status from "In Transit" to ? I think my docs got shipped out today and I'm watching DHL lol.

Lots of people have said that. My case is in transit also and my N/A have changed back to PAID. Your current processing site will state your consulate.

No prob! It'll say "Ready" after they input the case into their system. It takes a day or two for that to happen.

08/04/2014 - Interview - APPROVED

08/05/2014 - CEAC shows AP

08/07/2014 - CEAC shows ISSUED

08/11/2014 - E-mail from courier received

08/12/2014 - VISA IN HAND/ELIS Fee PAID

Of course! I'd look to see if your case status changed to "Ready" sometime early next week since if it was shipped out today, it might arrive this weekend or Monday.

Never again!!! Just have to deal with USCIS again later ... Best of luck on your interview! @alaskabound Thanks for the reply, I really do hope we get some movements soon. I also wanted to request an earlier interview date but since mine is still at NVC, I have no chance of getting it now. We'll get there, we just have to hang a little bit more. I'll pray for your case too.

Hopefully by then he will have completed his citizenship! I saw your first post at 2 yrs so it is a relief to not worry for 10!!

Thanks for the links. My husband has his medical at Knightsbridge Doctors yesterday. Now we just wait for the interview on Nov. 17th.

I think I would rather deal with the USCIS vs NVC any day lol

I just had my medical today and was told the second round shot will be November 15th and the third round will be April 15th. I was told i can take the remaining shots in U.S if am no longer in Nigeria.

**** I think you should update the country's portal, they are now requesting for 5 passport photographs and also the price is now 32,000****

Yes I have heard. I know the HEP is optional but sometimes people don;t know and get scared and feel they will get denied if they don;t get all the shots the doctor says.

I am updating the page now.

Thanks alaskabound. Sorry, I forgot to announce it here with all the excitement. I was asked to submit the passports to the embassy on Monday and the visas were issued the following day. I should get them back in a day or two.
