Hi Guys,

I have finally received my notification for my interview for November 3rd (2 days after our wedding). With it came a list of things to bring with us on that day. It has requested I bring an affidavit of support and things that I have already submitted. It does, however, state "unless already submitted". I know it is probably a bit obvious but I am assuming I don't need to bring those things then?

All help is much appreciated. Thank You in advance.

You don't have to bring them if they already have them but I'm more of a person who thinks the government loses everything(make 2 copies of what I send everytime) so I would personally take a copy with me.

Even though it states "unless already submitted", I would take any documents they asked for to be on safe side. You'll be ready if they ask for it again. You just don't want to be delayed just because it is sitting at home.

What am I missing in this case?

According to your timeline, you got a K1 visa in January.

Doesn't say when you entered US

Nine months later you married. Huh? 90 days to marry??

And you applied for AOS in April BEFORE marriage. How does that work?

Do you need to fix your timeline maybe?

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe they got married within 90 days but are having their wedding in October, but it's also weird (if everything is OK) that she applied for EAD and AP in April and still hasn't received them (or at least hasn't updated her timeline). Hopefully we'll hear from the OP soon.

You don't need what you already submitted, but you should bring copies of everything you already submitted anyway, just in case. Take the originals of the documents you sent copies of as well. Take proof of your bona fide marriage showing co-mingling of finances and co-habitation.

I agree with Nich-Nick. I do not understand your timeline at all, or how you could have an AOS interview already only 2 days after your wedding. Your timeline is quite confusing.
