RFE affects EAD?

I filed my I-485 along with I-765 and I -130 on June 19, 2014. Received a RFE on July 12 for missing I-864 form and birth cert. Responded on July 29, 2014. Sept 5 received a second RFE for tax documents!

On the first RFE mentioned the I-765 will be processed when they received the missing RFE, so I know my EAD day will not start until July 30. Now, will my EAD gets further delay because I have the second RFE? There is nothing mentioned on the second RFE about my EAD what so ever.

I really need the EAD because I need a job ASAP to support my daily life! Please help!

I have heard conflicting information about this.

Here on visajourney, most seem to say that Yes, it will affect your EAD.

When I called USCIS a couple days ago, they said No, it will not affect your EAD.

The general consensus is that USCIS's 1-800 number is not a reliable source of information, but my agent assured me that it will not be affected when I asked twice for clarification.

I have heard (hopefully someone can confirm or deny this with more certainty) that if you haven't received your EAD after 90 days of initial filing (before RFE), you can call and they will get the process moving more quickly for you (even if your case was delayed by RFE).

I am in a similar situation to you, so I know how it feels to want that EAD more than anything! :D

Oh gosh!! I'm so broke! Does anyone know if I can check the expected date? I'm running out of funds!

Have you tried calling USCIS? They might be able to give you some more information and clarify some things.

Not sure of your situation or what visa you are adjusting from, but can your sponsor help you out with day-to-day expenses while you wait for EAD?

I am adjusting from F-1, family based! My mother is my main sponsor but she is retired. Frankly, my joint sponsor is just a friend won't be able to help me with day-to-day expense! OMG, I'm freaking out!

Should I call USCIS customer services?
