Sole guardianship - US embassy in Ireland

I shall be marrying my USC fiance next month and we will be submitting the I130 soon after.

My question is, I'm divorced and have sole guardianship and sole custody or my son, my divorce decree also states I can remove the child from Ireland "for any purpose", will the embassy still look for written permission from my ex for my Son to move to the US?

My ex doesn't want to have any contact with my son nor does he contribute financially. My fiancé is a better father to my son than my ex. Finding my ex would be an issue in itself as he has moved and changed his phone number since the divorce.

If you have a court order stating you can take your child out the country that should be enough. They may not even ask for such a thing. Just keep for interview. No need to give if not asked and bring up a whole can of issues.
