My husband arrived in the US on August 21, 2014 and we are still waiting for his green card and social security card to arrive in the mail. Does anyone have any information on how long these documents are supposed to take to arrive? Who can we contact to inquire about their status? Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

My husband's green card arrived after a month, and his Social Security card arrived about 3 weeks after he arrived.

When did you pay the $165 fee on ELIS?

If you paid what does the site say as the progress?

Have you called USCIS to inquire?

Why not just go to Social Security office now. Most do after 2 weeks to apply.
