Oh well you know that we're on the same boat, mine has taken even longer though :(

Applied 70 days early.

NOA May 30th

Biometris June 26th

Yellow letter: July 10th

GC anniversary August 3rd

It's been almost 3 months and still stuck on "initial review"

Was able to get a service request, which I should hear back by the end of this month... let's see what it has to say...

I'm somewhat relevant to this.

Priority date is January 6th, 2014, where we immediately went into Initial Review.

In February we went into Testing & Interview.

In March my wife received her EAD.

In early August we updated our address, and our case went back to Initial Review.

Today our case went back to Testing & Interview, so I'm wondering if my wife is essentially back to where our case was in February.

Has this situation happened to anyone?

It is so hard to be patient at this stage but honestly you're not outside any kind of unreasonable window.....your June filers thread shows you're in the same boat as over half of your group.

Today it's been the deadline to hear back about my service request, and not surprisingly I was told that it could take up to a 30 days...

They checked the status of my request and I was told that today or next business day an officer should look into it... and to call back in a week.

So I guess I'll wait one week to later on get a letter that says to allow 60 days to call USCIS to inquire about my case..

It's been officially 3 months yesterday since I had my biometrics done...

By the end of next month I will be able to contact my Senator, hoping to hear from USCIS before... although I'm not feeling that optimistic...

Don't worry it takes awhile for the biometric to come up. Mine took like 5 months. I was like WTH with them... they called them up and waited for 1 hour for each call. They said ohhh it takes like 30 days or 60 stupid days and make you open that stupid mailbox each and everyday without fail!!! You are doing the right thing to call them up. Ask for a Tier 2 to speak with. I think it does help a little instead of speaking to a human repeative message that you get from the internet. I think they should all be fired!!! Wasting our time and money!
