Well after reading so many reviews my actual interview wasn't that straight forward. I was called to the first booth and they couldn't find my file, at this point panic set in. After 10 minutes standing there they found it and it was easy sailing from there.

I've selected the depot in South london to pick my visa up from how will I know when it is there ?

Probably because you got bumped up in the queue with a 2-day notice, the file didn't make it to the right place and they had to go fetch it. You were kind of an exception. A lucky one. :)
