what are the things I need to provide before I qualify for us Visa lottery

If you're nigerian, you are not eligible.

The basic qualifications are born in eligible country and high school certificate.

Then others like proving you won't be a public charge, no criminal record, no US visa violation etc.

Ineligible countries

Those born in any territory that has sent more than 50,000 immigrants to the United States in the previous five years are not eligible to receive a diversity visa. For DV-2015, natives of the following nations are ineligible: Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China (mainland-born), Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Haiti, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, South Korea, United Kingdom (except Northern Ireland) and its dependent territories, and Vietnam.

Unless your interview is in the next week and you are one of the final winners from Nigeria before their exclusion you can't get a DV lottery visa based on being Nigerian ( I believe all visas for this year are already issued even if the year ends at the end of Sept)

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
