50percent of something is better than 100 percent of nothing.

The U.S. is large enough to handle this.

You say "it's not so bad, we'll survive", but we shouldn't have to swallow whatever lamebrained "least bad" idea he tries to force on us. Whatever changes politicians implement should at least have the appearance of being good for the country, while this is obviously a bad idea. That's also why 75% of Americans are against it, which is reason enough for him not to do it (in a non-O'bama universe, where things make sense, at least).

if he does this, the dems are done for this decade. the correct party will have the same type of super majority in congress along with a friendly president the dems had when he was elected. the dems squandered their opportunity. the republicans won't. they will attack every entitlement and non business friendly law and regulation on the books & NOTHING could stop them.

someone on the left better get in his ear, in a hurry

Congress can prevent all of that. All they need to do is act on immigration. The Senate did that some time ago by passing a bi-partisan bill. Boehner just needs to bring it up for a vote. It'll pass with bi-partisan support. Obama will sign it and it's all done. No need for any executive action. Problem solved. That is, if Boehner and his Republicans would actually be interested in solving problems. Of course, they're not.

I just spent an butt load of money on a 10 year green card and I am about to unload more on naturalization. You think maybe since i am an actual legal citizen I can get a 50% break ?

Why have congress and a Senate. The Preznit has a pen.

I bet the few dems left in power with half a brain are shating in their pants

the house has passed bills regarding the border and immigration. they're somewhere on harry's desk. no one wants a lame duck senate involved in the conference if they did pass a new 'comprehensive' (code word for BS included) bill. no one but 0bama & other idiot idealogues.

The American people overwhelmingly support what the Senate passed. But why would republicans care about the will of the people, right?

Don't you think you should consider waiting until there is confirmation that this story is true though?

After we find out the story is true we should file a suit against the government and ask for %50 of our fees back.

Better? :content:

Not only is it better, it is also far more prudent.

And far less likely to happen (not that it ever would, but...). Once the EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY is passed down, our government will spend hundreds of millions more dollars on funding the illegals, and there won't be any money left to refund the folks who did it legally. We've already spent over $600M on the UACs this year alone.
