Timeline

At the time it seemed like the right thing to do. Everyone was still freaked out over 9/11 etc. Looking back on it now, it obviously wasn't a good idea. Hindsight is 20/20 like that.

Probably off topic, but I was living in Montreal just prior to the start of the Iraq war. I remember they had a protest against the war and something like 250k people came out for it. It was 20F below zero. I remember thinking, "what a bunch of nuts"

You seem hesitant to answer though: Did you "punish your enemies" (the 40% voting for invasion) as the preznit advises us to do to those with whom we disagree politically?

I be livin in the Lone Star state, No democrat congressmen around here
