USCIS will send Form I-797C, Notice of Action, to a customer in order to communicate information related to notices of:

  • receipt,
  • rejection,
  • transfer,
  • re-open, and
  • appointment (fingerprint, biometric capture, interview, rescheduled).

If you receive a Form I-797C in the mail, please pay close attention to what it says. Ignoring the instructions in a Notice of Action might delay your case.

That is taken directly from the USCIS website here: http://www.uscis.gov/forms/form-i-797c-notice-action

It is your NOA 1

Yep! If everythings in your I-129f and they don't need anything else, your NOA2 will be next. Seeings as you are CSC, shouldn't be too long they are doing theirs faster than TSC. Goodluck!

No one can predict the future based on past events, so I wouldn't get someone's hopes up on something you can't promise.

well yeah i can't and i didn't mean to promise anything but i doubt it would be five months tho, unless they will be asked to send in more evidence.

You never know, could take 5 months. In the past it has been quicker for CSC so hopefully it will be quick for you too!

Can't really tell. All of us are hoping our petitions will go through fast like the others, but it is still better to have realistic expectations. I, at first, based my expectations on how quick other petitions were approved and it crushed me. People who applied weeks after I did, got approved before me. So lets just hope but not expect. And do not forget to CONTINUE LIVING your life while waiting for the petition. It will make the wait go by faster.
