We got approved on July 29.. Still waiting for the mnl number.. It has been 15 days.. Is the letter from uscis indicated that the paper is already sent in nvc?

I got approved on JULY 24th, I was getting mad when everyone who got approved same day as me or even days later, received their notification stating their case was shipped to NVC or DOS? Did you???? By the way, it wasn't until yesterday (August 13th) that they shipped it and I honestly thought that before that, it was already on it's way to NVc but I was mistaken. So, that's why I'm asking you, If you received a last case update stating its shipping?

My case was just assigned at NVC 9 days after notification from TSC that my file was sent to NVC. I was told it can take 25 days to receive and 60 days to process, but it seems to be much quicker. Good Luck!

We received out NOA2 for I-130 on 18 June, but our immigration papers were received at the NVC on 02 August. It took a little over month for us, although our was from Nebraska Service Center. I think it's a case-to-case basis.

How long will it take to go from texas service center to nvc then to get my mnl number? rough guess...

How would I know if the papers is already sent to nvc? We don't know the exact message the uscis would send us.. But no. My fiancé hasn't received any message about sending it to nvc..

Can someone give me the exact message from them?? Thank you..

You would receive a Text/E-mail stating you have a last update at the USCIS case status: When you check the status, it should say something like this:

Post Decision Activity

On August 13, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Yes.. yours was obviously expedited so timeframe is not really relevant.

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

Unless you work at USCIS, you can make no claim as to my case being expedited. You may speculate all you want and give potentially false information to those reading but you have no proof or factual information to back up our statement.

No requests, no natural disasters, no senators/congressmen involved, nothing.

There are several cases that get processed faster than others and no rhyme or reason.

Maybe it was immaculate paperwork, maybe because I was prior military, or a super clean police check, maybe my case worker liked that I raise cows, maybe someone liked my fiancee's picture or our names or place of residence was common to them, maybe someone was just feeling like they would pull from the bottom of the pile that day, or instructed to do so every once in awhile, maybe someone was pissed off and decided to buck the system, or maybe someone likes shocking petitioners or giving early Christmas presents, OR... maybe no reason at all.

Maybe it was just God answering prayers and showing that He does still perform miracles.

I feel out of all the possibilities, it was the latter. So I'm thankful that He chose to bless me.

Either way, you shouldn't make false claims. Use the words "may have been expedited but no one knows".

The fast processed applications make up the timeline just like the slower ones. It can be used as a reference because it CAN happen and DOES more often than you think if you just do the research.

I'm not here to argue just wanted to point out to those reading that my case was submitted just like theirs with no reason or request for expedition. I wish you all luck and a speedy process.

You were expedited, Wwether you requested it or not. And regardless of whether you even wanted it, you were expedited. You also don't have to admit it. You were expedited though.

Edit: If you do the research, you'll see that there are still plenty of Philippines expeditions going on.
