Right, but these transfers usually happen in waves, so odds are if you were truly transferred, lots of other people would have been as well at around the same time. Plus, if your file is already showing up as being at the new service center, it must have been sent to them at the very least several days ago, probably more with the holiday slowdown.

When you call again, and this may sound silly, make sure they repeat your case number and info back to you, since everything they told you the first time flies in the face of what we know about I-129F petitions and where and what timeframe they are being processed in. Is it possible they got mixed up the first time and gave you info about, for example, someone else's I-130 petiton?

I just called back and another rep confirmed we're in TSC. Our case was reviewed on November 20th, but it hasn't yet been assigned to an adjudicator.

The previous person reviewed our case number and confirmed quite a bit of information about us to confirm that we were the right people, so I don't think he was looking at someone else's case. In fact, he knew that Lee was in-country based upon her immigration entry for the current visit. Yet, he told us we were in Nebraska.

Still, these people just don't seem to have any consistent information to share. She was trying to tell me to call back at the end of the month, and after I pushed, backtracked to the 15th. I'll call again on Monday.

I think we must be getting close, but it's extremely frustrating that they can't or won't give us any useful information.

I'm new to the thread and website. I'm an august filer and getting antsy as my fiance and I have a son together and he's missing so much. He will be over a year old before our visa is approved. Hoping for updates soon. He wanted to be here for Christmas, however once at Heathrow he was told his ESTA was revoked until our visa was approved. Frustrating.

I am an August 16, 2013 filer and went through everything you are discussing today. We thought too, that the average wait time was 5 months. For us, we received our approval on May 6, 2014, 10 days shy of 9 months. We had our attorney make inquires on our behalf and they just got the same talk as everyone else gets. I hope all of you get a faster reply.

I called on 12/9 and spoke to a tier 2 rep who explained that with my filing date of 8/27 this would be roughly april or may approvals if everything goes smoothly. That is based on the current workload. Still seems so far away.

This is another reason to hate USCIS. They don't even make an effort to appear like they're trying to work within their objective of 5 months for normal processing times. Today is my five month anniversary of filing with USCIS. Tomorrow, I'll make two calls. One to USCIS and another to my Senator's office seeking assistance with getting USCIS to keep its stated objective of five months. I don't care how far behind they are. We've been told the five month mark is when we can make noise, so that's exactly what I plan to do - even if it does nothing more than make me feel like I'm trying to get something done.

USCIS doesn't see the people on the other end of the form. We're the ones who listen to our fiancée cry on the telephone because we just want to be together. That's the message that these government drones need to understand. There are real people associated with the petitions who need them to do their job and do it now.

I have a friend who works for our state Senator. He heard the issue I'm having, that my fiance and I have a 10 month old son together and my fiance was allowed to be here for his birth, but hasnt been since. His Esta was revoked until our visa is approved. He asked her why it has taken this long when we as citizens are expected to pay our taxes on time, etc. What if I need him asap because of the baby? As it was my mom died unexpedtly and he couldn't come to be with us. Its hard. He contacted me, and he launched an inquiry into my case, even just go get a visit would be nice. I guess what I'm saying is...its worth it. Its worth (for me) knowing I have someone looking into this for me. (Of course my friend applied and it took 4 weeks total. Why?? Stinks!)

We have similar timelines, my boyfriend and I also filled around the end of august. And that message you just posted makes me wonder, when you say that the cases should be "approved" around april/may do you mean that by then we should be done (visa in hands, ready to go) or that the NOA2 should arrive around april may??

I asked this question, the tier 2 gentleman said April/May to be here and married if nothing goes wrong. I hope this helps!
