Hello!

I am new here and I am excited to post my 1st question today.
Many people may have asked similar question but I've noticed some people get NOA1 in few days.
My fiance has sent I-129 package July 26th and yet we haven't been informed if USCIS received our package.:(
But I see from K1 visa timeline that some other people have sent NOA1 later than us already for NOA1.

Why is there a difference or are we forgotten? I hope not! ><
Also, I noticed some people NOA2 approval is just 2 weeks? few weeks from NOA1, how is that possible?
Does that depends on beneficiary country?
I hope mine is not lost somewhere.
I'm sorry I'm worried too much and I just want to say it out here. T_T

Do you know the address the package was sent to? Normally you would hear something within a week

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

TSC received: Aug 04 2014
I-129F NOA1 : Aug 06 2014
I-129F NOA2 : Feb 25 2015 (NOA2 copy rcd: Mar 02)

The people getting their NOA2 within a couple weeks are usually from the Philippines or have requested an expedite.

Mar 2014 - Married

5/7/14?? - Attorney mailed paperwork

5/15/14 DHS cashed check

5/19/14 - NOA1 received with PD 5/12/14

10/17/14 - NOA2 received

10/28/14 - Email received that file has been sent to NVC

11/13/14 - NVC received file

12/10/14 - NVC Assigned case number

12/12/14 - AOS Fee Invoiced

12/13/14 - Submit email to NVC to remove attorney as DS-261 Agent

12/16/14 - AOS Fee showing as Paid

12/17/14 - IV Fee invoiced

12/20/14 - IV fee available and paid

12/27/14 - DS-260 submitted

1/2/15 - AOS and IV packages sent to NVC

1/5/15 - USPS delivered packages to NVC

1/7/15 - NVC scanned in packages. Let the countdown begin...

1/30/15 - FINALLY got a reply to my email to remove the attorney from the DS-261

3/9/15 - Called NVC and they have checklisted us for an "incorrect" decree absolute from the UK, even though it is the legal official document. Have requested a supervisor review.

4/28/15 - Called and NVC said supervisor had reviewed and now claimed that the decree absolute was not included. After disagreeing with the less than helpful lady on the phone, and her not being able to get the review time right. (She kept changing her story between 42 days and 30 days).

4/30/15 - Sent the same copy of the decree absolute to the NVC from the UK, highlighting the "decree absolute" wording with a letter stating that this is the only document provided by the UK government.

5/6/15 - Scan date for checklist received.

6/5/15 - Case complete!!!

6/12/15 - Called and interview is scheduled for July 1!

6/14/15 - Received email with interview date and instructions.

6/19/15 - Case showing as ready on CEAC.

7/1/15 - Approved at interview!!!

7/6/15 - CEAC changed to Administrative Processing

7/7/15 - CEAC changed to Issued!!!!!

7/10/15 - Passport and packet delivered!

7/29/15 - Husband entered with visa at Dallas/Fort Worth airport

9/29/15 - GC delivered!!!

5/4/17 - ROC packet sent via USPS

5/9/17 - Tracking shows delivered

5/17/17 - Check cashed

5/19/17 - NOA1 received with date of 5/8/17

5/27/17 - Biometrics appt received 6/8/17

Did u send the G1145 to be notified by text or email? If not the hard copy through the mail takes longer. When I was waiting for my NOA1 I noticed the same thing you did. Some got their notification faster. Was your check cashed? Did you check the USPS or FedEx tracking?

LionessDeon: Yes, I've made sure my fiance sent G1145 form together. USPS said that they have delivered it. He said his cheque hasn't been cashed yet and I hope they didn't lose it. T_T

Philippine citizens have priority because of the typhoon.

It all depends where your petition will be sent to after you receive your NOA1. If you get the Texas Service Center, it could take up to 5-6 months. California Service Center is much quicker... some people got their NOA2 in less than 1 month...
