minions2, I don't think you should be worried, from what I have seen in these forums there is no time assurance for any of the local offices. Some offices take a lot longer than other offices with less applicants. So some people are done with the whole thing in a few months and others have to wait over 8 or 9 months and sometimes longer.

For example in my case I was placed In Line for interview on 4/25 and my interview date was 7/18.

You have only been waiting In-Line for 14 days. So again, don't worry.

Good Luck!!!

My status online says that on july 24 I was placed in line for interview and I shall receive a letter of the place date and time but until now, no letter and online updates...

It does take a while sometimes! Try calling and see if you can find out your interview date...perhaps you could also request that the letter be resent! Good luck to you.

You'll only receive a letter after your interview has been scheduled. I've been in line for 6 weeks now and I'm not worried. My service center is taking a while to schedule interviews.

My dad was in line for his interview 6-20-14 and he waited for 2 months for his actual date on his interview. He is going for his interview on the 8-20-14 so I wish him good luck! U are within the time frame. No worries!
