Hi everyone,

I had my biometrics done on June 26th and it's been over a month and there's no change of status on my case, still says initial review.

The only thing I got after my biometrics was the yellow letter dated July the 10th and it only asked to bring my ID and passport to the interview.

I was hoping to see a change but nothing not even in line for interview.

I have a friend that filed 2 weeks before me and got her interview letter already which will happen September 4th.

My field office is Miami.

Is this normal? Should I be worried?

Thanks for all your help :)

Is your friend filing through the same field office? How long ago did your friend receive her letter? If she received it more than two weeks ago, then it would seem that you are over due. If she received it two days ago, you probably have a couple weeks at least before you would get yours.

Do not, do not, do not mind the status online, my friend. That thing is not always updated.

Also, I have seen plenty cases where people apply almost at the same time and 1 person gets interviewed like 3 month before the other person.

Who knows why

i think i waited for more than 1 month but less than 2 months to be interviewed. and my status online is not really on time.. at one point it says interview when I already received letter for oath
