More waiting now..

I emailed my congressman a few days ago about supporting my EAD to be expedited due to a current job offer I have. I got an email reply from his office today with a forwarded email from the Congressional Unit at the NBC stating they have passed my case onto the expedite team for further review and adjudication. I know it can be a bit hit and miss with this stuff but will be interesting to see if anything happens. I never thought I'd say this but I've never wanted to work so bad in my life!

Good luck!!

I had a question how do you guys figure out your time for the 75 day mark on your EAD. IF I base it on my noa. Mine was August 19, then that only makes it about 66 days, but I see some people here, have a noa with a later date then mine and are saying they are over 75days?

it's supposed to be 60-90 days. It seems to vary quite a lot! We're currently sitting at 79 days since NOA1. :time: If you fill in your timeline, this site will give you an estimate based on what others have put in their timelines. It's super helpful! :)

How can I fill it?

I just copy paste one and I put my info in?

AOS timeline:

08/10/2014 - AOS, EAD, AP applications mailed. B-)

08/13/2014 - NOA hard copies finally arrived in the mail!

08/28/2014 - biometrics letter arrives.

09/11/2014 - biometrics appointment in Boston, MA

10/27/2014 - called USCIS. Day 75. We need to keep waiting....

11/04/2014 - I-765 updated. Jumped from "Initial Review to Card/ Document Productions"

11/17/2'14 - I-485 letter interview scheduled. Dic 18th, 2014.

11/18/2014 Email saying the interview was cancelled. :ranting:  :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting:

Well I was just wondering when I talk to an uscis officer, he just told me I couldn't make a formal request till after the 75 day mark which starts from the date on the notice of action. I was just asking, because some people have later time lines on their noa and they say it's been past 75 days. Thanks

They got my papers on August 13th, so since that day, I have been counting. On Monday will be the 75 day for my case, so my hubby and I are calling to see what it is going on.

Chilean, this is the link to show you how to do a timeline: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/102797-create-a-vj-timeline-to-track-your-case-and-get-estimated-approval-dates/

If you're asking about what you can see as a timeline on people's posts, that's in the signature. You add that when you edit your profile.

K1 Visa timeline:

Asked for a service request this morning. More waiting..."someone will respond to the service request within 30 days"..ironic because that 30 days would put us past the 90 days mark.

You know, I can't help but think that if I hadn't asked for the service request I wouldn't have received the RFE.

They already had everything they asked for.

That's possible. :( I wondered the same thing about your case.

As for us, Johan STILL hasn't gotten the official job offer from the company who is waiting for his EAD to put him to work. At this point, I think trying to expedite was a terrible idea.
