I apologize for venting. But I received Packet 3, and was reading over the info about the medical exam. I've been struggling with psychiatric illnesses for a while now, and had asked my Doctor for a written certification. I did this in the beginning of January. I had then made an appointment for my medical on March 3rd, thinking that would give him enough time to put something on paper. Well, I was wrong. I had to reschedule the medical to March 20th, because he wasn't done yet. I got a call today saying that the letter was ready, and I could come pick it up. When I got there, I was told that he won't release it to me. He's going to sent it to Montreal. I tried to explain that I needed it for my medical in Saskatoon, but I was told that it doesn't matter, it's being sent today. Now what do I do? I've tried to get the written certification, but can't. Is this going to delay things?

Can they not at least give you a copy of the letter to take to the doctor?

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

I guess the only thing you can do then, is tell the doctor at your medical that he has already sent it to Montreal.

What? That is your dr and your info. Did you give permission to release it to anyone else? If not doctor patient confidentiality has been breached and I would be calling them to say that. If you want a copy of anything in your file it is your right to get it.

I would definately agree with that. If a patient asks for something like that, what right does your own doctor have in taking it upon themselves to forward it elsewhere. Damm I'd be furious.
