Am I alone in thinking the way I do? Honestly after being with my fiancé in April, and having to leave him once.....I cant do it again. Unfortunately due to work on his & my end, its pretty much impossible for us to meet up again until our K-1 goes threw. But at the same time, I don't think I could walk away a second time...not with 8,000+ miles between us. He also agrees, so we facetime 2/4+ hours everday and use whatsapp 24/7. Are we the only couple that cannot bear to be together because we cant stand to be apart, sounds crazy but being together just to be apart hurts sooo much. Thanks

If it is unbearable to leave again than just do not spend time together until the visa is approved.

I feel the same, we spent a month together in May, and leaving him was so hard, it took me a month before feeling a bit normal and continuing with my everyday life in my country. I'm thinking about taking days off at work and going for another visit in September, but knowing that I will have to leave him again is killing me.

I see you got your first Noa right around the same time as me too. I would never have left him if I spent a whole month with him, that must have been super hard to leave him :( My fiancé is finishing up holiday now, and I really wanted to see him. But I work with my Mom and she cant run the business by herself, so I cant leave again. Im trying to take it as a sign from God, that we need to just wait. What doesn't break us will make us stronger. Good luck on a speedy approval. :)

How do you guys deal with it? I know there are no tourist visas given to visit Saudi anyways :(.

patience is a must, so I will be waiting for the visa to be done, because being for some days only with him is difficult, and to get back to normal days without his being with me is painful. I wish the best for all of us ?

I'm an emotional masochist I suppose, I had my fiance visit me three times since I filed the I-129F. I was okay enough the first time, the second time was a little more difficult, but the third time was too much. I was overly depressed, my apartment became a mess because I stopped cleaning, I didn't do any sort of food shopping which in turn caused me to eat less (didn't care), I didn't want to go to work anymore, let alone get out of bed (but I did...). I'm usually like that for a week or two but it took me 6 weeks to pull myself back together this time. That was my limit and at that point I decided that I wasn't going to see him until the interview, it was getting a little unbearable until we got an interview date this past Wednesday. Luckily we're in the same time zone so I see him every day on Skype, and I talk to him while I'm at work.

It was extremely hard, and it took me weeks to put myself together. I had to come back for work, and at that time we were not aware of this delay at tsc. We were planing to get married by december. And today we received bad news, my fiance's mom got ill, she was diagnosed with cancer, and has only few days left...It's really heart breaking seeing someone you love so much suffer, and I can't be with him to hug him and give him my support. I will try to book my flight for next week, even if that means I will lose my job. And you are right, what doesn't break us, make us stronger. I'm praying for fast approval for all of us.

Personally I was happier to be able to touch my husband as much as it hurt to leave.

We were on skype every minute we were home, including sleeping, emailed and used gtalk when we weren't. So yeah it sucks, but being able to physically touch the person I loved, helped more than it hindered for us. But every couple is different.

Sorry to hear about your MIL, cancer is awful. It does suck when you cant comfort your fiancé, mine has lost his Aunt and his best friends father past two days ago. I wish they had an easier process to be with the ones we love, its no ones fault we are in different countries. Good luck to you.

Thank you for your support. My MIL passed away this morning. We are heartbroken. She was an amazing women, I am happy I got to know her before she got ill. I can't make it to the funeral, but I will go as soon as I can, and this time I am planning to stay as long as I am allowed (I'm hoping NOA2 will come while I am there). I can't stand another goodbye and knowing I won't see him for months, specially now when he needs me. I wish you good luck and praying for fast approval for all of us.
