Hello.

We sent the AOS package in four weeks ago and still have not received any response. I have sent email inquiring about the status and am considering sending it again.

On our Immigrant Visa site we can't even click the "IV APPLICATION" and our IV application fee is reading as 0.00.

There is also no way to get the DS-260 information (though we filled in the DS-261 information ages ago.

We are now 10 months into the process of applying for the spousal visa, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

There is no need to send the AOS package again. It is currently taking 30 business days (some even longer...) to review the AOS package, and the only way to find out for sure if it has been reviewed and accepted is to call NVC. You will be waiting a long time for an email response about it.

The IV fee invoice will become available after your DS-261 has been reviewed and accepted. This is currently taking anywhere from 25-35+ business days after submitting your DS-261. If you clicked on the DS-261 after originally submitting it, you may have restarted your waiting period. The only way to know for sure which date you should be using to count your business days is to call NVC and ask on which date your DS-261 was received.

Hope the info helps, hang in there.

This is good advice. I thought I had reset DS 261 as I compulsively clicked on the completed link a few weeks later but a call to NVC confirmed the date was the same I had. Maybe you have to click all the way through?

In any case, yes, call.
