USCIS said no tracking number for green card?

we paid the $165 fee for our green card on July 17th, and when I called USCIS to check status, the lady said there was no tracking number. I asked again and she checked with someone else and said there is no tracking number.

She just said that in 45 days, call back and check if I haven't received it. I wanted to ask which address it will be sent to and she just said 'whatever address we put in..."

Is this correct? Is there really no tracking number? All I have is the payment confirmation tracking ID and agency ID number.

As for the address, which address does the card get mailed to? Does it get sent to the U.S address?

My wife is not in the U.S yet, but right now, she is living in another address, that is different from when we filed for the I130, and I'm worried the card will get sent to that address instead.

The GC won't be processed until your wife enters the US using her immigrant visa. The GC will be delivered to the US address that you indicated in the ELIS. You'll get the GC in a month (or longer) after POE.

You should have a Us ELIS account for when you paid the fee right? If so I think you can check to see if the payment went through however the status won't change until after your spouse enters the US. I've seen it take up to a month after POE.

Until your wife enters the USA she does not have a green card yet so no green card will be produced. Production of green card is typically 1-3 months after payment or POE, whichever is later.
