I don't think either one of them were/are good Presidents. They both did some good things though and neither was completely bad. Bush did step up national security after 9/11 and it did help prevent and deter further attacks on US soil. I give him credit for that which he deserves. I also respect him since he left office and has remained low key, not voicing his opinion every time you turn on the TV. He went back to his private life and stayed out of the national news. He hasn't come out of retirement bashing Obama at every opportunity. Honestly, I think he is probably a very likable person in real life.

Obama hasn't had a star studded 51/2 years, but he did get bin Laden and no further attacks have occurred on US soil. Iraq is still a mess, they each own their part in that disaster. I think Obama could have done a few more things in his time if the Party of No gave twoshits about the American people, but the almighty party comes first and doing nothing has become the norm. I think that national healthcare could have gone a lot better if there was cooperation. I think the US is capable of having good healthcare for all.

I don't agree with a lot of Obama's handling of illegal immigration, but I don't agree with either party where that is concerned. Neither wants to stop it for different selfish reasons and anyone who thinks otherwise is a dim witted fucktard. I feel the same about anyone who thinks that either party has all the answers. Cooperation. Compromise. We the people should come first.

It was a generic attack, no foul.

And most of the dim wits wouldn't have seen it until you pointed it out.

I have to report you know

Good day

And that is pretty much the summary of most administrations. When you remove aluminum accessories, conspiracies and dim witted histrionics from the equation, and look as issues across the board, the emerging picture is quite anticlimactic albeit clear and fairly simple to comprehend.

I just don't remember partisanship always being valued over honesty the way it is now. Maybe I young (and thus naive) but I feel like there was a time when the media as a whole actually called politicians out when they caught them in a lie.

They still do ... if the politician is a Republican, or a Democrat who's gone off-message. <_<

Except for Fox News. Who are the complete opposite, unless ... Ooh! Shiny!

:P

You had to go all the way back to Romney's '94 Senate campaign to 'prove' his supposed flipflops?

It's not inconceivable that someone's opinion on an issue would change in the course of decades. Heck, the preznit's opinion on gay marriage changed back and forth every few weeks.

You asked for a list of Romney's contrary statements and I provided you a video. You didn't put a time limit on when these statements were made. Next time I guess I better check with you before I post something on here.

You also make it sound like I put this video together. I knew Romney was a notorious flip flopper from watching the 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns, so to come up with this video all I had to do was enter "Romney flip flops" in the search engine.
