A# on the check

Hello there, I have a little question - where do I put A# on the back of the check? Should I put it in the line where it says "endorse here"?

It doesn't matter. The check is changed to an ACH transaction.

Write it where the instructions tell you to write it........on the back of the check.

The actual check will not be deposited in the bank. It will be changed to an A C H

The line on the bottom left of the check. That's where you out the A#. Don't write anything on the back of it. Make sure you endorse the bottom right on the front. I know it will be turned into an electronic debit but it HAS to be a negotiable instrument in the first place.

It is so confusing, usually you write information like that in memo, but the instruction says clearly to do it on the back of the check - and only one place I can imagine would be under "endorse here"

I wrote mine on the memo line in front of the check and it cleared with no issues.

I did. I put it under the "endorse" here line and above the "don't write below this line".

We just wrote it in the "For" or "Memo" section on the front of the check and it was accepted without any issues.

Also wrote it in the memo section and it was fine (I've been a citizen for a couple yrs now so clearly it was fine )

The actual check is destroyed after uscis makes a copy of the front and back

Of the check. I put my A# on the back as per instructions.
